Amazon S3 has emerged as a fantastic low-cost hosting alternative for large files, like podcasts and training videos. You can store as much data as you want. Storage charges and bandwidth costs are just pennies per gigabyte.

One of the downsides is protecting the content inside the S3 buckets. (What Amazon calls the directories on their server.)

Most tutorials give bad info. They leave the entire contents of the bucket exposed. Most info product marketers are guilty of this. Anyone can come along and scoop the contents of their courses free of charge.

Link redirects are the most powerful tool a marketer can have. They can save you mountains of time and money. They make it easy for you to change all your links at once. Even if you’ve been publishing online for 15 years.

I can’t get Jiggling the Web to work. I’m not seeing any instant search results. What am I doing wrong? Does Jiggling the Web still work?

Yes, Jiggling the Web works as well as ever. I didn’t’ publish it because it doesn’t work any more. That wouldn’t give me any credibility now would it.

In fact, I Jiggled the Web for my Jiggling the Web page. The phrase I went after – besides Jiggling the Web – was “instant search engine rankings” without the quotes of course. Last I check I was number one and two on Google, with my Digg snippet positioned higher than my own site.

A couple of info product marketers sat down with Tony Robbins. They asked him why people return digital products without even trying them out.

Tony said, “Losers are uncertain. They don’t believe in themselves. They return a product to confirm their low self esteem. To confirm what they believe, that they have limited potential.

Instead of believing in the product and being certain, they believe that it won’t work, so they don’t take action, they don’t get results and it confirms their beliefs.”

Tony goes on to explain how you can condition your mind, break through these self limiting beliefs and program yourself for success. I watched the whole video and took notes. Here’s what I found out…

A warm heart-felt thank you to everyone who asked. Yes, my wife Amy is healthy and back to her old self once again.

I’m trying to type quietly, because I’m writing this note as my wife sleeps in the intensive care unit of the hospital.

What started as a nasty flu, left her in a weakened state. This allowed a mysterious bacteria to invade her bloodstream. It came on very fast. Within 48 hours she was almost gone.

After a quick trip to the family doctor, she told us to get the closest hospital as fast as possible. We almost lost her during our 10 hour battle in the emergency room.

A few days later, Amy was in good spirits as she whispered, “I look like a robot.” (She had more tubes than a Borg from Star Trek.)

After four days of antibiotics and tests, a blood culture revealed the bug and they were able to target it directly.

Finally, we’re out of the woods. She’s stable in the intensive care unit. Most of the tubes are out. She’s on a liquid diet now.

Hopefully she’ll go to a regular ward this week and then home, where I can look after her. The doctors don’t expect any permanent scarring or damage, but it may take 2 – 4 months for her to make a full recovery.

Most of you know that we sold our home, found a new place and are in the process of moving. If moving, packing, cleaning, address changes for personal and company weren’t enough, it’s also my fiscal year end. That’s enough for anyone’s plate.

I don’t usually mix personal and business. The problem is that my personal life has so overwhelmed me, that my business has to take a back seat.

Due to these unforeseen circumstances, I’m shutting down the Vault on November 21 2009. I won’t have the time to dedicate myself to it. My family comes first. I hope you understand. My focus will be getting settled in our new home and nursing my best friend on earth back to health.

Thank you for all the kind words, thoughts, prayers and continuing support. I appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

Epilogue: Dec 15 2009

Amy’s home now. She lost about 15 pounds (pretty hard considering she was only 110 to begin with). She’s almost fully recovered and looking much better than she did.

* Now it Includes a New PDF Version. The following are notes that I took during Ken McCarthy’s System Intensive Seminar. Most of these concepts were not in a handout or take home manual. Even if you attended a System Intensive in the past, you haven’t seen this.

These are the thoughts and ideas that Ken was riffing on, off the top of his head, while referring to the bullet points in his presentation. I was typing feverishly, glancing at the manual, listening to his lecture and interjecting my own thoughts (blue type in brackets) throughout.
